Becca's Backwoods Bean

Becca's Backwoods Bean is located on Main Street in beautiful Sparta, NC.  They serve a light breakfast and hearty lunch Monday through Friday and a more extensive brunch menu on Saturday.  Dinner is served on Thursday nights from 5:30-8:00 pm offering customers delicious and unique handmade pizza. Becca's is committed to supporting the community by purchasing locally grown, seasonal produce, local milk, eggs and meat, when available, for their daily menus. 

Becca is from St.Petersburg Florida, and attended Florida State University. Matthew is from Alleghany County and attended culinary school in Tallahassee where he and Becca met. They share a cooking philosophy of using the best ingredients available, combining them in creative and appropriate ways.  Becca and Matthew are committed to supporting their community and to fully investing themselves in their schools, and providing a welcoming atmosphere to residents and visitors.

Mangum Pottery and CaterPots fuse their creativity at their downtown gallery and studio at 24 S Main Street. The gallery combines 70 years' potting experience in the work of Robin Mangum, and Robin and Daniel Cater. Since 1974, Mangum Pottery has developed a national following producing one-of-a-kind work as well as decorative and functional pottery. Daniel and Robin create a range of clayart from functional pottery, dinnerware, and lamps, to decorative and sculptural one of a kind pieces. Mangum-Cater on Main is open Thursday-Saturday, 10-5. Muddy Creek Cafe and Music Hall of Sparta

Creating a family based community through food and music has always been our goal.  Achieving that goal means taking every reasonable measure to ensure we are consistently providing a safe and healthy place to gather for our loyal guests, the talented artists who grace our stages, and our dedicated staff.  We are complying with the health code standards of cleanliness throughout the venue, and reinforce those standards daily.  We maintain clear and open lines of communication with our entire staff to ensure they stay home at the first sign of illness symptoms.  We are monitoring the State & Local authorities guidelines.  As of now all of our upcoming shows are going on as planned. If any changes are made all ticket holders will be contacted directly by email with more information.  If you are feeling illness symptoms please inquire about your refund options.
